ANOTHER NEW SCHOOL SEASON FOR US. We are excited at the prospect of seeing our former classmates once again. For sure, there will be new faces. To see your classmates and friends again can really be cool. The terror professors, the favorite professors, the nasty ones, we’ll see them once again. Mentor or advisers, that is the question? Just seeing them again makes my day. See them again – the canteen staff, the ol’ guards and the old lady that sells newspapers. They are our family outside of home. Who else? Of course, don’t forget the flea pest control experts. They are family too!
Rewind. One year, just one year ago. The fresh start of classes. The school is in session. All the students are in their room, signaling the start of the new school season. Unfortunately, none ever thought that fleas are now a part of the school community. Because the school is deserted, the fleas took the opportunity to make it their breeding ground. Nobody noticed the signs. Two, three students in a class will start scratching their back, legs or arms. Then some in the middle. You would have not noticed. Students just brushed it off. Days passed and still nobody’s wiser. Until, finally, one day, almost all the students in one class, started scratching simultaneously. The professor is not pleased with what he saw. He thought the students are making a practical joke on him. But they are not playing a practical joke on him. Because of that, they became aware of the situation. Now the students have come to realize that they have been suffering from itching and skin irritation the past couple of days. The professor noticed that he himself have been feeling prickling sensation in his skin.
After a thorough check, it was confirmed that the whole school community have been affected by the disease. A disease brought upon by the manifestation of fleas in the campus. As a result, classes was suspended indefinitely. To stop the spread of disease and to lessen the itchiness and irritation, medicines and medication were given to the school populace. Parents are clearly angry and disappointed that things like this happen in the school itself. It was an oversight of the school officials and they admit it. The plan to hire a flea pest control company have been forgotten.
Back to the present. Today, both students and faculty staff are confident that there will be no repetition of what happened last year. The school officials have prioritized it in their budget to hire the services of the flea pest control company to safeguard the school all year round.
