I GREW UP IN THE FARM. It is our ancestral farm, and now it belongs to my parent. Now that I happily married, I regularly bring the kids to visit their old folks. My kids are always looking forward to their monthly visit to the farm. On the way there, we pass by rice fields, rivers, billboards and even a wasp removal building. The kids are captivated by this. They love it in the farm. They love to play, roam around and have picnics. They like to help their grandparents work in the farm. They are captivated by farm animals. You can see them in the morning collecting the eggs with their GrandMa. My older son is very fond of milking the cow. The kids have a field day feeding the ducks and pigs. One of their favorite pastime is horseback riding. It made my mom and dad very happy .
What we didn’t expect is for all of this to change in just a moment. It was one of those quiet day, and we were all relaxing, making light conversation when suddenly we heard our little darling daughter screaming. We all rushed out and found my little girl crying. She said a wasp sting her. We all went inside and treated the sting bite. We thought not much of the matter. The next day, my two sons, together with their cousins came rushing, yelling back to the farm. They quickly closed the door behind them as they fall over inside. We asked them what this is all about. They explained that a swarm of wasps are in hot pursuit of them. They were telling the truth, because as we looked outside the window, we can see swarms of wasps fluttering nearby. Our kids do not want to get out of the house anymore because of the wasps.
Our children are clearly traumatized by their experience and don’t want to go back to the farm anymore. It made my mom and dad so unhappy. They miss their grandchildren. The feeling is mutual. The kids misses them as much. They really love their GrandPa and GrandMa. You don’t need to ask. Everybody is hurting.
One day, my Dad excitedly called up and said bring the kids to the farm. ”Bring the kids here”, he repeated. Reluctantly, we went back to the farm again. It was like a carnival out there when we arrived. Everywhere you can see balloons and ribbons tied all around. A marching band no less, greeted our arrival. My father then beckoned us to show the wasp removal van at the far end of the barn. To bring back the kids, my parents have hired the best wasp removal expert in town to exterminate all the pests in their farm. To free the kids from their fear, my parents wanted them to witness themselves, how the wasps will be exterminated. The wasp removal experts begun the treatment and extermination of the wasps in our area. We can see clearly how effective and efficient they are eliminating the wasps. In no time, all the wasps are all killed or driven away from the farm. The enthusiasm of the kids to go back to the farm is renewed. Not just monthly – but as frequent as possible!
